New Moon in Libra & Solar Eclipse (October 2, 2024)

Happy New Moon in Libra! Full disclosure—there is so much energy in the sky, I could write forever. However, I like to keep my blog posts short and sweet. Thus, I will cover what I feel called to share. From there, I encourage you to research today's celestial happenings if you desire to do so!

Let's start with the New Moon in Libra. Charming, romantic Libra is the sign that rules relationships. This gives us an opportunity to really examine the close relationships in our lives. Are you satisfied with the current relationship dynamics in your life? An important question you may ask yourself is, "how present am I in my most important relationships?" Due to constant distractions in the 21st century, many of us have lost the art of conversation. We have forgotten the concept of pure, uninterrupted presence. This moon is a beautiful time to ask yourself what distractions you can eliminate in order to foster the emotional connections in your life.

In addition to the New Moon that is happening, we are experiencing the “ring of fire” annular solar eclipse. This means that any genuine efforts you make to improve your interpersonal relationships can carry on into the next six months. Furthermore, this is a potent time for us to ask what feelings we have been hiding and/or suppressing. What have you been scared to share with others? What have you been unwilling to admit to yourself? Although this type of shadow work can be difficult, beautiful internal healing can result from it. Whatever you are feeling today, I send you joy and peace so that you can embody the highest version of yourself.
