Full Moon in Aries (October 17, 2024)

Happy Full Moon in Aries. Before Libra season ends in a week, we get to really soak in the Libra energy through the full moon in Aries. At the same time, we feel the opposing fierce energy of the Aries moon, spicing up the harmonious Libran essence. In addition, this full moon is a supermoon. Let’s dissect, shall we?

To begin, let’s discuss the energy at work during this full moon under the Libra-Aries axis. Whenever there is a full moon, we have strong energy of two separate elements at work. Here, we feel air energy from Libra and fire energy from Aries. With the sun in Libra, we may feel that happy-go-lucky Libran energy. You may feel yourself enjoying the beauty of nature more than usual. You may also find yourself enjoying human connection more than usual. With the arrival of the full moon in Aries, however, there may be a pull in the opposite direction. There may also be an intense part of you yearning for independence. Maybe, those festive fall plans you made last week no longer sound fun, and you would rather focus on your personal needs. I invite you to ask yourself under this full moon whether you are craving connection with others or independence to focus on your own needs. Maybe, you feel a little bit of both. Either way, lean into whichever energy will allow you to be the healthiest, happiest version of you.

If that energy isn’t fierce enough, we also have a supermoon! This happens because the moon’s orbit is closer to the Earth than usual. As a result, our beautiful moon will appear larger than normal. During the supermoon, it is also possible that you can feel the effects of the full moon more than usual. Thus, permission to really feel your emotions, and let go of any energy that is no longer serving you. Ultimately, I hope you use this full moon to find internal joy. Whether it is communing with others or enjoying some alone time, you deserve to feel your best. And most importantly, don’t forget to take a little time to look up at that big, beautiful full moon.

With love and light,

Abby
