Capricorn Season 2024-25 (December 21-January 19)

            Get your goals ready for the new year, folks. It’s officially Capricorn season. You can’t take the Christmas decorations down quite yet, and the goals may need to wait until the new year, but Capricorn season represents a return to order after the wild holiday party that was Sagittarius season.

            Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, the planet of wisdom. This means that Capricorn energy is associated with maturity and knowledge. In general, Capricorns are ambitious and direct. The Capricorn is not afraid to remind you that there are no shortcuts in life. Rather, the Capricorn believes in hard work and extreme patience. Even if a Capricorn does not have a talent that outshines others in their field, the Capricorn is willing to work so hard that you forget about the individual who was the most naturally talented to begin with.

            I appreciate this Capricorn work ethic. Capricorns know how to get the job done. I do often find that people are wrong in assuming that Capricorns are clean freaks and perfectionists like Virgos, however. Rather, Capricorns have the gift of focusing in on what it is that they truly want, and taking the proper steps to achieve their goals.

            When I try to explain the Capricorn drive to people, I often think of Capricorn David Bowie. Throughout his life, he was obsessed with his creations. The amount of creative energy he poured into his work was truly amazing. His creative pursuits came before everything, and he even put true love on the back-burner until Cupid hit him hard later in life. His work was his top concern. If you watch documentaries on him, you can see his Capricorn drive shine through.

All this hard work, however, can sometimes lead to harshness, and others view Capricorns as cold. Well it is true that Capricorns can be harsh at times, the Capricorn energy is good for the world, and likely keeps some of us in line.

            While Capricorns are often associated with their hardworking and sometimes harsh nature, they also tend to be hilarious individuals. Capricorns excel at witty banter, and they are the masters of sarcasm. So, with all that being said, work hard on those 2025 goals. But, like the Capricorn, crack some jokes along the way. And as always, I send you joy and abundance as you move into the new year.
